About Job

We are looking to bring on remote, telehealth clinicians (that need to be currently fully licensed in the state of Washington) to our counseling and sleep practice. We have historically had a waitlist of clients in other states and have expanded into Washington. We're looking to fill our roles as soon as possible.

You do not need any sleep experience to apply to this role--all the training and mentorship you need will be provided to you. However, you do need to hold a full license as a mental health clinician (e.g., LCSW, LPC, LMFT, LMHC, Licensed Clinical Psychologist, etc.). At this time we are not hiring provisionally licensed clinicians or those who require supervision.

This position provides complete admin support—we take care of your insurance credentialing, finding clients for you (we have a waitlist), scheduling clients, and handling billing—allowing you to dedicate your efforts to what you excel at: providing therapeutic care to clients.

We are hiring for 1099 (flexible hours/contractor) and W2 (full-time) roles. We typically recommend starting with a 1099 (independent contractor) arrangement. Once you’ve seen at least 15 clients and are familiar with behavioral sleep medicine and our clinic’s processes, it may be a good time to consider transitioning to W-2 (employee) status. That transition generally takes place within 3–6 months, assuming everything progresses smoothly.

About the practice:

We’re a practice dedicated to both sleep and mental health, with a primary clinical emphasis on insomnia and sleep-related concerns. While our core expertise lies in behavioral sleep medicine, we also provide general counseling and psychotherapy to support the broader mental health needs of our clients. Our goal is to create meaningful, sustainable careers for mental health professionals in a growing and highly sought-after specialty—while also offering the flexibility to engage in general counseling work. Through this balanced approach, we aim to provide comprehensive, compassionate care that addresses both sleep and emotional well-being.

We believe in the strong connection between a good night's sleep and mental well-being, and work to provide care that looks at both. Our team is made up of dedicated therapists and psychologists who create a friendly place to work, where we care as much about the health of our patients as we do about the happiness and well-being of our clinicians.

Please note: we only offer therapy sessions to clients who are 18 years old or older. Therefore, applicants must have prior experience delivering one-on-one counseling to adult individuals.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct telehealth therapy sessions with our clients (typically 53 minutes long).
  • Undergo training to remain current with advancements in sleep therapy (prior experience in sleep therapy is not required for this role).
  • Keep accurate records of case notes and track the progress of clients.
  • Use our EHR to look at a client's sleep data and use it to inform your care.

Reasons to join our team:

  • Join a team that care as much about our clinicians as we do our clients. We'll treat you as a first class citizen, giving you as much support as you need, fill your caseload, and give you an industry-leading fee split (70% fee split)
  • Learn a valuable new skillset that goes beyond what a normal therapy practice can teach you. There’s an overwhelming amount of demand for chronic insomnia treatment (30 million Americans suffer from it)
  • Say goodbye to the headache of paperwork and missed appointments. We handle all the admin stuff like scheduling, billing, credentialing, copay collection, no-show fees...etc. for you. Anything that's not delivering therapy to clients, you let us know and we'll take care of it!
  • Feel secure in a job that's here to stay and support you. We are in this for the long-term.
  • Work where you're respected and supported, in a place that lets you adjust your schedule to fit your life.

A typical client:

When you join our team, you'll find that a lot of our clients are struggling with chronic insomnia, often rooted in psychological issues like anxiety or stress from work. We usually set up weekly sessions, each lasting about 53 minutes, and the first 8-10 weeks are dedicated to sleep-focused therapy (e.g., CBT for Insomnia) following a semi-structured protocol.

During these weeks, we'll also really get to the heart of what's causing their sleep issues. Either during or after the first 8-10 weeks we'll start to delve into the underlying psychological factors (such as anxiety, stress, depression) and then continue to help our clients manage those underlying factors over the long run.

Looking forward to possibly working together and making a difference!
