Solace Counseling & Consulting PLLC is a group practice specializing in treating people and couples dealing with anxiety, trauma, and depression. We are seeking a part time clinician who is interested in developing their speciality and in need of free supervision. This role is for the clinician interested in outpatient therapy looking to supplement with availability for evening and weekends.
The ideal mental health clinician would value a small work family, a hybrid role, flexible schedule, opportunities for growth, no micromanaging, and the desire to create & contribute to a small company that cares about its people.
The ideal candidate would also posses the following personality traits empathetic, trustworthy, accountable, personable, decisive and shows good judgment.
Duties:
- Provide direct care and support to individuals with mental health disorders, including but not limited to autism, special needs, and gender issues.
- Conduct individual and group therapy sessions using various therapeutic modalities such as art therapy, dance therapy, and chronic pain counseling.
- Assist in the development and implementation of treatment plans tailored to each individual's specific needs.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including psychiatrists, psychologists, and special education professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
- Administer psychopharmacological medications as prescribed by medical professionals.
- Monitor and document patient progress, behaviors, and responses to treatment interventions.
Qualifications:
-Clinical Licensure (LCSW, LCMHC, LMFT, Associate level licensure strongly encouraged to apply)
- Clinical Master's degree .
- Experience working with individuals with mental health disorders.
- Knowledge and Previous experience of therapeutic techniques such as art therapy, CBT, DBT.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Compassion, empathy, and patience when working with individuals experiencing mental health challenges.
