Position Summary
The Department of Psychiatry at Indiana University School of Medicine ( IUSM ) is seeking to fill an immediate opening for a full-time Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor position. This role would involve approximately 75% clinical activities commensurate with the candidate's interests, in addition to 25% effort overseeing our departmental education programs as Vice Chair for Education. The Vice Chair for Education is a key member of the departmental leadership team. Doctorate or Terminal Degree Required.
Duties and responsibilities of the role include the following:
Oversee program directors and clerkship directors to ensure that all educational programs meet or exceed applicable compliance policies and standards.
Monitor educational metrics for the department and work with programs to develop and implement improvement plans when needed.
Advocate for the needs of the educational mission both internally and externally.
Promote faculty development as it relates to teaching and education.
Create a positive environment for educational creativity and innovation.

Basic Qualifications
Doctorate or Terminal Degree Required. GME experience required.
