Seeking experienced School Psychologists for multiple long-term leave contracts serving K-12 students in the Aurora, Illinois area. These roles involve supporting student evaluations, behavioral planning, and collaboration within multidisciplinary teams in public school settings.
Key Assignments and Locations:
- Early Learning Center (40%) and Gemini Middle School (60%) August 18, 2025, to April 10, 2026 (possibility of extension)
- ELC hours: 7:40 a.m. to 2:55 p.m.
- Gemini hours: 8:15 a.m. to 3:35 p.m.
- Melzer Elementary School November 3, 2025, to February 10, 2026 (likely extendable through June 5, 2026)
- Hours: 7:20 a.m. to 2:35 p.m.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct initial evaluations and reevaluations for students with disabilities.
- Manage Section 504 plans, including evaluation and facilitation of review meetings.
- Develop Functional Behavior Assessments (FBA) and Behavior Intervention Plans (BIP).
- Collaborate with social work teams to address academic and behavioral challenges.
- Participate actively in the Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS).
- Experience with students on the autism spectrum is preferred for elementary assignment.
Qualifications:
- Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with School Psychologist endorsement.
- Current Illinois license required; applicants must provide proof upon application.
- Demonstrated understanding of special education evaluations and behavioral interventions.
