About Job

Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.


Seeking experienced School Psychologists for multiple long-term leave contracts serving K-12 students in the Aurora, Illinois area. These roles involve supporting student evaluations, behavioral planning, and collaboration within multidisciplinary teams in public school settings.

Key Assignments and Locations:

  • Early Learning Center (40%) and Gemini Middle School (60%) August 18, 2025, to April 10, 2026 (possibility of extension)
    • ELC hours: 7:40 a.m. to 2:55 p.m.
    • Gemini hours: 8:15 a.m. to 3:35 p.m.
  • Melzer Elementary School November 3, 2025, to February 10, 2026 (likely extendable through June 5, 2026)
    • Hours: 7:20 a.m. to 2:35 p.m.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct initial evaluations and reevaluations for students with disabilities.
  • Manage Section 504 plans, including evaluation and facilitation of review meetings.
  • Develop Functional Behavior Assessments (FBA) and Behavior Intervention Plans (BIP).
  • Collaborate with social work teams to address academic and behavioral challenges.
  • Participate actively in the Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS).
  • Experience with students on the autism spectrum is preferred for elementary assignment.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with School Psychologist endorsement.
  • Current Illinois license required; applicants must provide proof upon application.
  • Demonstrated understanding of special education evaluations and behavioral interventions.
