**Job Description:**

- 90% of the work is done in outpatient settings (where patients come for treatment and go home the same day).
- 10% involves inpatient work (where patients stay in the hospital).
- The work schedule is Monday to Friday, with no work on holidays or weekends.

**Role:**

We are looking for a Psychometrist to help our team and support our business staff.

**Experience Needed:**

- You should have at least two years of experience working in a healthcare setting under the supervision of a licensed psychologist, with at least one year after finishing your doctorate.
- You need to have completed an internship that is approved by the American Psychological Association (APA).
- You will conduct assessments for adults and older adults to help determine their mental health and plan the right treatments.

**Areas of Expertise:**

- You should be skilled in assessing:
- Memory problems
- Dementia
- Traumatic brain injuries
- Sports-related concussions
- Cognitive issues linked to conditions like epilepsy, multiple sclerosis (MS), and Parkinson’s disease, among others.
- You will also perform pre-surgical assessments for patients being evaluated for surgeries such as deep brain stimulation, weight loss surgery, and epilepsy surgery, as well as assessing decision-making ability.

**Leadership Experience:**

Having two or more years of experience in a leadership role or training specific to this position is highly preferred.

**Qualifications Needed:**

- You must have a Ph.D. or Psy.D. from a school that is accredited by the American Psychological Association - this is required.
- You must have completed an internship endorsed by the American Psychological Association - this is also required.
- You need to have a Michigan license or be willing to obtain one - this is required.
- A clean malpractice history is preferred.
- You should have two or more years of clinical experience in a healthcare setting under the supervision of a licensed psychologist, with at least one year after your doctorate - this is necessary.

**Additional License Requirements:**

- Again, you should have two or more years of clinical experience in a healthcare setting under the supervision of a licensed psychologist, with one year after finishing your doctorate.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $100,000.00 - $250,000.00 per year
