A school district in Mason, MI is seeking a qualified School Psychologist to support elementary students on a contract basis for the upcoming school year (NSY). This role provides the opportunity to directly impact student success through psychological assessment, consultation, and intervention within an elementary school setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations to assess educational and behavioral needs
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Provide counseling and crisis intervention services as needed
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to support student learning and well-being
- Utilize data to monitor student progress and adjust interventions accordingly
Required Qualifications:
- Valid School Psychologist credential/license appropriate for the state of Michigan
- Experience working with elementary school-aged children
- Strong knowledge of assessment tools and techniques relevant to educational psychology
- Ability to communicate effectively with students, families, and school staff
- Familiarity with special education laws and procedures

Duration: Contract for the next school year (NSY).
