Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.


This opportunity seeks a dedicated School Psychologist to support the academic and emotional development of elementary school students. Based in Joliet, IL, this contract position offers a full school year (CSY) term focused on providing essential psychological services within an elementary school setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psycho-educational assessments to identify student needs and determine eligibility for special education services
  • Develop and implement individualized intervention plans to support student learning and behavior
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to address student concerns and promote a positive school environment
  • Provide counseling and crisis intervention services as needed
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, including Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings
  • Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to state and federal guidelines related to school psychology services

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology
  • Valid school psychologist certification/licensure in Illinois
  • Experience working in an elementary school setting preferred
  • Strong knowledge of assessment tools and intervention strategies
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse student populations and school staff
