This locum tenens psychiatrist position is based in Central California and surrounding areas.

• Immediate start with ongoing availability, working day shifts in an outpatient setting.
• Full-time schedule of 40 hours per week, treating a patient population with serious mental illness.
• Work involves 30-45 minutes per patient for evaluations and follow-ups, with about two hours daily for administrative tasks.
• Support staff includes Medical Assistants and LVNs, aiding in patient care.
• Caseload begins with approximately 45 new intakes daily, decreasing to a manageable number as caseload stabilizes.
• Clinicians will spend most of their time conducting evaluations, seeing patients, and collaborating with the care team.
• Requires no call, and board certification is negotiable.
