A dedicated School Psychologist opportunity is available in Madison, Tennessee, serving K-12 students on a contract basis for the upcoming school year. This role focuses on supporting the mental health and educational development of a diverse student population, collaborating with educators, parents, and administrators to create effective intervention plans.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations for students across K-12 to identify learning challenges and developmental needs
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavioral intervention strategies
  • Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and families to support student success and well-being
  • Provide counseling services and crisis intervention as needed
  • Analyze data and maintain accurate records in compliance with state and federal regulations
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to school-wide mental health initiatives

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field
  • Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist in the state of Tennessee
  • Experience conducting psychoeducational assessments in a K-12 setting
  • Strong knowledge of special education laws, guidelines, and best practices
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage confidential information with professionalism and discretion
