About Job

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Work, active Social Worker license and minimum 1+ years School Social Work experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.


A full-time Social Worker is needed to support students and families within a K-12 school setting. This onsite position is based in Aurora, CO, and offers a six-month contract during the current school year.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct counseling and support services to students to address social, emotional, and behavioral challenges
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop intervention plans tailored to individual student needs
  • Conduct assessments and connect students and families with community resources and support networks
  • Facilitate group sessions on topics such as coping skills, conflict resolution, and social development
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with school policies and confidentiality guidelines
  • Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and contribute to individualized education program (IEP) planning as needed

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Degree in Social Work (Bachelors or Masters)
  • Relevant licensure or certification according to state requirements
  • Experience working with K-12 students in educational or related settings
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with diverse populations
  • Knowledge of community resources and mental health support systems
