A K-12 school is seeking a qualified School Psychologist to provide comprehensive psychological services throughout the academic year. This contract position offers the opportunity to support student development and promote a positive learning environment within a dynamic school community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological evaluations and assessments for students.
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with educators and families.
- Provide counseling and crisis intervention services to support student well-being.
- Consult with teachers and staff on behavioral interventions and strategies.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss student progress and needs.
- Maintain accurate records and comply with confidentiality regulations and school policies.
Desired Qualifications:
- Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist.
- Experience working with K-12 student populations.
- Strong understanding of assessment tools and educational laws related to special education.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
