Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Therapist/Resident Psychologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality mental health care through a variety of therapeutic modalities. This role involves working with diverse populations, including children, families, and individuals with developmental disabilities. The Licensed Therapist/Resident /Psychologist will conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and implement evidence-based interventions to support patients in achieving their mental health goals.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and diagnostic evaluations for individuals across various age groups.
- Provide individual and group counseling utilizing techniques such as cognitive behavioral therapy, crisis intervention, and motivational interviewing.
- Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to the unique needs of each patient, including those experiencing PTSD, addiction issues, or chronic pain.
- Engage in child and family counseling sessions to support developmental needs and behavioral management.
- Utilize telehealth platforms for remote therapy sessions as needed.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations, including ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care and case management.
- Participate in clinical research initiatives to contribute to the advancement of psychological practices.
- Provide direct support and crisis management services in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
Experience
Candidates should possess a strong background in various therapeutic approaches, including but not limited to:
- Psychotherapy techniques such as psychodynamic therapy, art therapy, dance therapy, and behavioral therapy.
- Experience working with children, individuals with autism, geriatrics, and those with developmental disabilities.
- Familiarity with medical terminology and records management within a clinical setting.
- Proven ability in conducting intake assessments and developing treatment plans based on patient needs.
- Experience in group therapy settings as well as individual counseling sessions.

Pay: $65,000.00 - $73,000.00 per year
