Job Type: Full-Time 1099 Contract

Position Overview

We are seeking a qualified and dedicated Remote School Psychologist to provide comprehensive psychological services to K12 students across Ohio. The ideal candidate will hold a valid Ohio Department of Education (ODE) School Psychologist license and have experience supporting students academic, social, emotional, and behavioral needs in both virtual and/or traditional school settings.

In this fully remote role, you will collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to promote student success, provide psychoeducational assessments, support IEP development, and help create safe and supportive learning environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct virtual psychoeducational evaluations in compliance with Ohio and IDEA regulations.
  • Interpret assessment results and provide recommendations to support student learning and development.
  • Collaborate with IEP teams to develop and revise Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
  • Participate in virtual IEP meetings, eligibility determinations, and intervention planning.
  • Provide virtual counseling, behavioral consultation, and crisis intervention services as needed.
  • Support implementation of Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) and Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS).
  • Consult with educators and families on academic and behavioral interventions.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation, including evaluation reports, progress notes, and service logs.
  • Stay current with legal and best practice standards in school psychology and telehealth service delivery.

Qualifications

  • Master's, Specialist, or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program.
  • Valid Ohio School Psychologist License issued by the Ohio Department of Education (ODE).
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a school setting (virtual or on-site preferred).
  • Strong understanding of IDEA, Section 504, and Ohio-specific compliance requirements.
  • Experience conducting assessments and writing comprehensive evaluation reports remotely.
  • Proficiency with virtual assessment tools and secure platforms (e.g., Q-Interactive, Pearson Q-global, etc.).
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
  • Reliable internet connection and a private, secure work environment.
