A school district in Hendersonville, TN is seeking a dedicated School Psychologist to support K-12 students throughout the upcoming school year. This full-time contract position offers the opportunity to work within a dynamic educational environment focused on fostering student success and well-being.

Responsibilities include:

  • Conducting comprehensive psychological evaluations and assessments to identify student needs
  • Collaborating with educators, parents, and support staff to develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Providing counseling and behavioral interventions to students as needed
  • Participating in multidisciplinary team meetings and contributing expert recommendations
  • Assisting in crisis response and prevention activities to support school safety and student mental health
  • Maintaining detailed records and ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations

Desired qualifications:

  • Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
  • Valid state certification or licensure to practice as a School Psychologist
