Position Summary
The Clinical Director in Training is a leadership development role designed for a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) who is preparing to transition into a clinical director position. The individual will work closely with the current Clinical Director to learn all aspects of center operations while maintaining a manageable caseload. This role combines direct clinical responsibilities with mentorship, staff support, and leadership training to prepare the candidate to successfully run a center.Key ResponsibilitiesClinical Responsibilities

  • Maintain a manageable BCBA caseload and provide high-quality supervision of ABA treatment programs.
  • Conduct functional behavior assessments (FBAs), treatment plan development, and data analysis.
  • Oversee and ensure effective implementation of ABA therapy programs.
  • Provide direct support, coaching, and feedback to RBTs and behavior technicians.

Leadership & Training

  • Work closely with the Clinical Director to learn and gradually take on responsibilities related tocenter management.
  • Assist in leading team meetings, parent trainings, and case staffings.
  • Support RBT training and onboarding, ensuring staff competency and clinical excellence.
  • Learn to manage staff scheduling, caseload assignments, and center-wide clinical quality.

Professional Development

  • Participate in ongoing training and mentorship with the Clinical Director.
  • Develop leadership, management, and organizational skills required for a Clinical Director role.
  • Collaborate with the administrative team to understand business and compliance operations.

Qualifications

  • Current Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification in good standing.
  • Minimum of 1–2 years of experience providing ABA services.
  • Strong knowledge of ABA principles, treatment planning, and data-based decision making.
  • Excellent communication, leadership potential, and organizational skills.
  • Passion for professional growth and interest in stepping into a leadership role.
