About Job

Medical Associates Plus (MAP) is seeking a self-motivated, organized Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to provide high-quality behavioral health and substance abuse treatment services within an integrated primary care setting. The LCSW will deliver individual and family therapeutic services and contribute to the oversight and coordination of substance abuse treatment efforts. This position involves direct clinical care as well as leadership in maintaining treatment quality, supporting clinical staff, and collaborating with external agencies to ensure continuity of care.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provide direct therapeutic services for adults and families experiencing behavioral health and/or substance abuse challenges.
  • Ensure accuracy and quality of substance abuse documentation and perform monthly performance improvement reviews.
  • Offer clinical guidance and support for staff managing substance abuse cases.
  • Maintain continuity of care and uphold service quality standards across behavioral health programming.
  • Assist with coordinating care and treatment planning with external agencies to promote client recovery.
  • Support client and staff safety, including completing necessary documentation for clinical holds or escalations.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and regular clinical meetings.
  • Maintain compliance with federal, state, and MAP policies regarding privacy, documentation, and clinical care.
  • Promotes the principles of healthcare integration and the Patient-Centered Medical Home.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.


Education:
  • Master's Degree in Behavioral related field plus 2 -3 years post grad experience
  • Clear and current State of Georgia License in Clinical Social Work (LCSW, LPC, LCPC)
  • Minimum 2 years of direct related experience which may include internship and /or practicum
  • Current certification in addictions (CAP) is a plus, but not required
  • Current CPR (from American Heart Association)
