Job Title: Master of Social Worker
Location: Orange, CA
Pay Rate: $50-$65/hr+ Joining Bonus
Start Date: Two weeks from the date of position offered.
Job Type: 13 weeks contract

Overview
The Social Work Supervisor plays a critical role in overseeing the delivery of social work services within our organization. This position is responsible for managing a team of social workers, ensuring high-quality patient care, and facilitating effective treatment plans. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in behavioral health and mental health counseling, with a commitment to providing compassionate support to clients.

Duties

• Supervise and mentor social work staff, providing guidance and support in case management and clinical practices.
• Conduct intake assessments and diagnostic evaluations to determine client needs and develop appropriate treatment plans.
• Facilitate individual and group counseling sessions, utilizing various therapeutic approaches including behavioral therapy, psychodynamic therapy, and Christian counseling.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain accurate medical documentation and records.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive patient care, including home and community care services.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Provide training on medical terminology, behavioral health practices, and aging issues counseling to enhance team capabilities.

Skills

• Proficient in behavioral therapy techniques and applied behavior analysis.
• Strong patient care skills with experience in patient assessment and clinical counseling.
• Knowledgeable in medical documentation practices, medical records management, and HIPAA compliance.
• Experience in case management, including intake processes and diagnostic evaluations.
• Familiarity with individual/group counseling methodologies as well as group therapy facilitation.
• Background in geriatrics or aging issues counseling is preferred.
• Ability to provide home & community care experience for diverse populations. This position requires a dedicated professional who is passionate about improving the lives of individuals through effective social work practices while leading a team towards excellence in service delivery.

Requirements:

• A Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) or related field is required.
• Active BLS Required.
• Active MSW-CA license required.
• Minimum a year experience required.
