About Job

California Behavioral Care works with individuals with disabilities in the home and the community to help people reach their full potential in life skills.

Acquiring skills in applied behavior analysis (ABA) as Behavior Interventionist or a board-certified registered behavior technician (RBT) provides a solid foundation for various future careers, including nursing, occupational therapy (OT), speech therapy, and teaching.

  • The understanding of behavior analysis equips individuals with valuable insights into human behavior, aiding communication and interaction in diverse professional settings.
  • The systematic approach of ABA promotes effective observation, data collection, and analysis, skills that are beneficial in fields like nursing for patient care assessments and in teaching for classroom management.
  • The principles of reinforcement and behavior modification learned as a BI/RBT are applicable in promoting positive health behaviors in nursing and facilitating skill development in therapy professions like OT and speech.
