This is a full-time (9-month) instructor (non-tenure) or Assistant Professor (tenure-track) position starting in August 2026. We are currently seeking to build a dynamic team of professionals committed to educational excellence. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the development and growth of a new academic program. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching, professional development, and service.Essential Functions:

Participate in curriculum development and review to ensure that components align with CSWE competencies and professional standards;
Teach MSW and/or related courses utilizing a variety of teaching strategies to engage students in learning;
Provide guidance and support to students through student professional advisement;
Monitor student progress and performance, ensuring compliance with program requirements and professional standards;
Engage in professional development activities; and
Participate in departmental meetings, committees, and other activities as required.

Qualifications:Required QualificationsThe successful candidate for Instructor (non-tenure) will hold a Master's in Social Work (MSW) from a CSWE-accredited program and two or more years of post-MSW practice experience. The successful candidate for Assistant Professor (tenure-track) will hold a MSW from a CSWE-accredited program with 2 years of post-MSW practice experience and a Ph.D. or DSW.Preferred QualificationsThe ideal candidate will hold a Master's-level license in their respective state; experience providing effective student-centered teaching and classroom management strategies which enhance the success of diverse learners; experience with innovative teaching approaches and use of distance education technologies in teaching; and experience with online course development.
