Residential Services Medical Coordinator

Work Skills Corporation (WSC) is looking to add a full-time staff member to our team! We are hiring a Medical Coordinator to play an integral role in providing quality care to our residential clients in our apartment program and assisting in the coordination and scheduling of medical appointments. If you want to be a part of a caring team devoted to the success of our clients and our staff, please apply. Pay starts at $19.00 to $21/hr DOE.

The Medical Coordinator will communicate with pharmacies, physicians, and residents to ensure that all medical appointments and prescriptions are completed. This role is primarily a day shift position but does require flexibility to meet our clients’ scheduled appointments.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • High School Diploma or GED is required; Bachelor’s degree in human services or a related field preferred
  • Previous experience in a home health care/medical or human services environment preferred
  • Must have a valid, unrestricted driver’s license

PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Schedule, prepare, and transport individuals to medical appointments, serving as an advocate for residents
  • Administer medications and provide medication in-service training to staff
  • Collaborates with other residential staff for care management activities
