Behavior Technician - ABA Therapy
Behavior Technicians will be trained and work in the growing field of applied behavior analysis (ABA) to help improve the lives of children with autism. We are seeking qualified, caring, responsible, and energetic individuals to join the Blossom team as Behavior Technicians. With Blossom, you will be given an exciting and unique opportunity to provide one-on-one intensive services to children in a state-of-the-art facility with a team that supports you! Candidates with childcare, nanny, and education related experiences are encouraged to apply!

Training includes: Learning about autism and other special needs, ABA teaching strategies, how to reduce challenging behaviors and improve appropriate/functional behaviors, using technology to teach and track data, how to provide 1:1 therapy with the supervision of Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs). Training and professional development opportunities will be ongoing throughout employment.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Dedicated and energetic individual with a genuine interest in improving the outcomes of children with autism and other challenges.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a team of other professionals to best support the needs of each client.
  • Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing clearly and effectively.
  • Dependable and punctual.
  • Must maintain respect and confidentiality for all clients.
  • No past criminal history.
  • Ability to lift up to 30 pounds required.
  • Available consistently Monday-Friday between the hours of 9 am to 6 pm

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Applicants who are Registered Behavior Technicians (RBT) or a Registered Behavior Health Technician is preferred, but not required.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, but not required.
