Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Schedule surgical procedures.

Discuss surgical procedures and available options in detail with patients.

Review patients' medical history.

Review and sign surgery related consent forms with patients.

Review preoperative instructions with patients.

Transmit pre/post operative medications and/or dispense medications purchased from the practice.

Schedule postoperative appointments.

Answer preoperative surgery related phone calls.

Complete surgery related paperwork and send surgery packets to the facility in which surgery is scheduled.

Other Duties as assigned

Must be friendly and possess good customer service skills.

Must be able to work in a fast paced environment.

Must be able to multitask.

Must be detail orientated.

May involve some travel to satellite offices.

Must be able to be flexible with hours.

Must be able to read and interpret patients' charts and must be able to explain instructions in a way that patients can understand.

Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.

Must have basic computer skills.

Education/Experience: One year experience in the medical field and/or customer service industry is recommended.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
