Summary:
The Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) is a licensed professional responsible for overseeing and implementing Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy for individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) or other developmental disabilities. The BCBA works closely with clients, families, and therapy teams to design, monitor, and modify behavior intervention plans (BIPs), ensuring high-quality care and positive outcomes. The BCBA is also responsible for supervising ABA therapists, providing training, and ensuring that all treatment is aligned with ethical standards and evidence-based practices. This position reports to the Program Director for Autism Services and Behavioral Health Clinical Supervisor.

The BCBA works closely with clients, families, and therapy teams to design, monitor, and modify behavior intervention plans (BIPs), ensuring high-quality care and positive outcomes. The BCBA is also responsible for supervising ABA therapists, providing training, and ensuring that all treatment is aligned with ethical standards and evidence-based practices. This position reports to the Program Director for Autism Services and Behavioral Health Clinical Supervisor.
Responsibilities:
1. Conduct functional behavior assessments (FBAs) to identify the causes of problem behaviors and areas for skill development.
2. Develop individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs) and treatment plans based on assessment data.
3. Utilize ABA methodologies to design interventions that target skill acquisition and behavior reduction.
4. Provide parent and caregiver training to ensure the generalization of skills and behaviors.
5. Work closely with families, caregivers, and other team members to ensure that interventions are consistently implemented across various settings (home, school, community).
6. Supervise and provide guidance to ABA therapists and other support staff, ensuring that therapy sessions are conducted according to the established treatment plans.
7. Provide ongoing training and mentorship to RBTs (Registered Behavior Technicians), paraprofessionals, and other team members.
8. Conduct regular clinical supervision meetings to review client progress and data, adjust intervention strategies, and provide professional development.
Other information:
Technical Expertise
1. Experience working with electronic medical record software, such as EPIC, is preferred.
2. Proficiency in Microsoft Office [Outlook, Excel, Word] or similar software is required.
3. Experience providing clinical services through telehealth is preferred.
Education and Experience
1. Education: Master's degree in psychology, Education, or a related field with an emphasis on behavior analysis required.
2. Certification: Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) is required.
3. Years of relevant experience: 2 years' experience in ABA therapy, including experience in clinical assessment, behavior intervention planning, and treatment delivery preferred
4. Years of supervisory experience: 1 year preferred
