The Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) is a graduate-level certification. Professionals who are certified at this ABA job level are autonomous practitioners providing behavior-analytic services. BCBAs supervise the work of BCaBAs, RBTs, and others who implement behavior-analytic interventions.Job Purpose:
The supervising BCBA provides specialized behavior intervention services via clinical direction, supervision of RBTs, BCaBAs, and/or BCBAs, and general case management, within his/her scope of experience and competence.Duties and Responsibilities:Conduct initial assessments for patients using provided curriculumCreate skill-acquisition and behavior reduction programs and strategiesParticipate in interdisciplinary collaboration and meetings with educators, speech, and occupational therapistsAnalyze patient data and make necessary program modificationsModel treatment implementation for BCaBAs and RBTsEvaluate staff performance and provide training and feedbackComplete progress reports in accordance with structured deadlinesConduct Functional Behavior AssessmentsRe-assess patients when necessaryProvide leadership through hands-on training and modeling of ethical conductImplement assessment tools based on client needs or insurance requirements prior to deadlinesMaintain a caseload of approximately 6–8 children, depending on client schedulesSupervise and evaluate the performance of RBTs/BTs to ensure proper implementation of treatment plans; provide training and guidance as neededPerform 1:1 and group meetings with staff to keep them informed and goal-orientedUpdate and maintain appropriate client programmingProvide parent training, resources, and guidance to ensure quality of careReview clinical documentation and data collection; provide feedback as neededDevelop and supervise individualized ABA programs for clients in home and community settingsProvide field supervision for clients as required by the treatment planLead, supervise, and mentor a team of behavior techniciansReview all session notes and data taken by BTs to monitor client progress and BT proficiencyMaintain a positive working relationship with families and respond to guardian questions professionally and promptlyFacilitate team meetings and collaborate with parents, team members, and professionals to ensure optimal client progressSupervise BTs and BCBA candidates in accordance with BACB guidelinesBenefits:Competitive salary: $65.00–$85.00 hourlyOn-demand paychecks with Sure PayrollMedical, dental, and vision insurance starting day onePaid PTO and sick leaveFlexible workdays and hoursMileage reimbursement, laptop, and tablet providedContinuing education: $750 annuallyExclusive use of MATS proprietary data collection software (CentralReach)Virtual assessment tools: AFLS, ABLLS, VB-MAPP, PDDBI, Vineland, etc.Exclusive premier training including initial BT/RBT training, student analyst curriculum, and internal RBT certificate trainingComprehensive client resources and curriculumPaid conference attendance (registration, travel, room, meals)Opportunities to participate in research projects and present at conferencesPaid professional liability insuranceFree telehealth via HIPAA-compliant Microsoft TeamsOptions to work virtuallyFlexible schedulingQualifications:Master’s or doctoral degree in psychology, education, or related field with a focus on applied behavior analysis.Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification required.Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills, with demonstrated ability to work in a team-oriented environment.Powered by JazzHR
