Position Details:

• Full-time

• Pay range: $45 $55+ per hour (based on experience)

Requirements:

• Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program

• Valid Connecticut Educator Certificate with a School Psychologist endorsement (Endorsement Code: 070) issued by the Connecticut State Department of Education

• Completion of an approved School Psychology preparation program

• Knowledge of Connecticut special education laws and federal IDEA regulations

• Prior school-based experience preferred

Responsibilities:

• Conducting comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations to assess cognitive, academic, behavioral, and social-emotional functioning

• Collaborating with educators, administrators, and families to design effective intervention strategies

• Participating in IEP and multidisciplinary team meetings

• Providing individual or group counseling and crisis intervention services as needed

• Supporting the development of positive behavioral and mental health programs within the school community

• Maintaining accurate, timely, and compliant documentation in accordance with district, state, and federal guidelines
