About Us
At Inspiring Kids Academy, learning doesn’t stop when the school day ends. Our program provides a safe, supportive, and fun environment for children ages 5–12 to unwind, learn, and grow after school. We are looking for a responsible and enthusiastic Aftercare Teacher to join our team.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and engage school-aged children in structured aftercare activities.
• Plan and lead games, arts and crafts, and enrichment activities that encourage creativity, teamwork, and problem-solving.
• Provide homework assistance and support daily routines.
• Maintain a safe, organized, and positive environment that promotes respect and responsibility.
• Communicate effectively with parents and staff regarding children’s experiences.
• Follow Inspiring Kids Academy policies and Florida DCF childcare regulations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent (CDA or degree in education preferred).
• Experience working with school-aged children in a camp, school, or childcare setting.
• Strong classroom/group management skills and the ability to lead engaging activities.
• CPR/First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire).
• Dependable, energetic, and passionate about working with children.

Schedule

• Part-time, Monday–Friday
• Typical hours: 2:00 PM – 6:00 PM (additional hours may be available on early release days, holidays, and school breaks).
