Cascade Orthopedics & Sports Medicine Center is a busy Specialty Clinic with locations in both Hood River and The Dalles. This is a part time position at our clinic in The Dalles. We require professional experience within a similar role and a high level of customer service within a medical office setting. Your experience could come from reception work, medical billing, collections, referrals or medical records. We are a team with the drive to ensure our patients receive great care and excellent service.

Job Duties:

• Greeting patient's
• Appointment scheduling
• Over the counter payments
• Insurance management and verification
• Answering and routing phone calls
• Incoming and outgoing faxing
• Prior authorizations of imaging and in office procedures
• Incoming referral assistance

Qualifications:

• Medical office experience
• Customer service skills
• Familiarity with EMR systems
• Proficiency in using multi-line phone systems
• Understanding of HIPAA regulations
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication and organizational skills

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
