As a Travel School Psychologist, youll have the chance to provide essential psychological services to students, helping them overcome challenges and achieve their full potential. Responsibilities:

  • Assessments: Conduct psychoeducational assessments to identify students learning, behavioral, and emotional needs.
  • Counseling Services: Provide individual and group counseling to address emotional, social, and behavioral challenges.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with teachers, parents, and other school staff to create and implement intervention plans.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of assessments, interventions, and progress in accordance with district policies.
  • Crisis Intervention: Provide crisis intervention services when necessary to ensure student safety and well-being.
  • Education: Educate school staff, parents, and students about mental health, learning strategies, and coping mechanisms to foster a positive learning environment.

Qualifications:

  • Active or pending state School Psychologist license.
  • Experience in school settings is highly preferred but not required.
  • Knowledge of psychological assessments, special education processes, and mental health interventions.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with students, parents, and school staff.
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and flexibility to adapt to different school environments.
