About Job

Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.


An opportunity is available for a bilingual Spanish-speaking School Psychologist to support elementary students from transitional kindergarten through eighth grade. This part-time contract role is based onsite in San Jose, CA, beginning August 12th for the upcoming school year.

Key Qualifications:

  • Valid credentials as a School Psychologist
  • Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English
  • Experience working with elementary school-aged children (TK-8)
  • Ability to efficiently manage a caseload of students
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills

Location:

  • Onsite position in San Jose, California, supporting an elementary school setting

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychological assessments for students TK-8 to identify learning, behavioral, and social-emotional needs
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and administrators to develop intervention strategies and supports
  • Provide counseling and crisis intervention as required
  • Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to student support plans
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with district guidelines
  • Support the mental health and well-being of students within a diverse school community
