Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Work, active Social Worker license and minimum 1+ years School Social Work experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A school social worker is needed to support the social, emotional, and behavioral needs of elementary students in a Sterling Heights, MI school setting. This contract position will span the current school year (CSY), offering the opportunity to make a meaningful impact within a dynamic elementary school environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct individual and group counseling sessions addressing students' social and emotional challenges
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop intervention plans
• Provide crisis intervention and support as needed
• Connect students and families with community resources and services
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to support student success
• Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with district policies and state regulations
