Position Summary
We are seeking a compassionate, skilled, and professional Social Worker to join our student support team. The Social Worker will provide counseling, crisis intervention, and support services to help students overcome social, emotional, and behavioral challenges that impact their learning. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with teachers, administrators, and families to promote student well-being and academic success.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide individual and group counseling to students addressing social, emotional, and behavioral needs.

• Assess student and family needs through interviews, observations, and collaboration with school staff.

• Develop and implement intervention plans to support student success.

• Collaborate with teachers, counselors, administrators, and parents to ensure coordinated support.

• Provide crisis intervention and connect students/families with appropriate community resources.

• Maintain accurate records and prepare reports as required by school policies and state regulations.

• Advocate for students’ needs while promoting a safe and inclusive school environment.

• Participate in professional development and remain current with best practices in school social work.

Work Environment & Expectations

• Full-time school-based position.

• Provide support across grade levels as needed.

• Must demonstrate cultural competence and the ability to work with diverse student populations.

• Bachelor’s degree in Social Work required; Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) preferred.

• State licensure or certification as a School Social Worker required (or eligibility to obtain).

• Experience working with children, adolescents, and families in educational or social service settings preferred.

• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
