Schedule: Full-Time, Onsite
Compensation:$43-$49 an Hour

Blazer Jobs is seeking a dedicated and compassionate School Psychologist to join a collaborative school team in St. Augustine, FL. In this role, you will provide psychological services that help students succeed academically, socially, and emotionally. Youll work closely with teachers, administrators, and families to develop and implement strategies that foster positive student outcomes.

Position Overview:
The School Psychologist will be responsible for conducting psychoeducational evaluations, interpreting assessment data, and providing recommendations that align with student needs. You will be an integral part of the IEP team and contribute to the creation of interventions and supports that promote student well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer and interpret standardized psychological assessments

  • Collaborate with educators and parents to address learning and behavioral concerns

  • Develop individualized education programs (IEPs) and participate in eligibility meetings

  • Provide individual and group counseling to students as needed

  • Support crisis intervention and response efforts within the school community

  • Maintain detailed and compliant documentation in accordance with state and federal guidelines

Minimum Requirements:

  • Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology

  • Active Florida School Psychologist certification (Department of Education)

  • Knowledge of IEP process and special education law

  • Experience in a school-based setting preferred

  • Ability to pass required background checks and fingerprinting
