A K-12 school in Durham, NC is seeking skilled School Psychologists for full-time and part-time positions on a contract basis for the current school year. This role involves providing psychological services aimed at supporting students' academic, social, and emotional development within an educational setting.
Key Qualifications and Preferences:
- Valid NC Psychology Board License (required)
- Experience working in K-12 school environments
- Bilingual in Spanish (preferred)
- Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) Certification (preferred)
- Strong assessment, counseling, and intervention skills
- Effective communication and collaboration with educators, families, and students
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological evaluations and assessments to identify student needs
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavioral interventions
- Provide counseling and crisis intervention services as needed
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to promote student success
- Maintain detailed records in compliance with state regulations and confidentiality standards
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and professional development activities
