About Job

Compensation for this position is between $18-25 hourly based upon education and experience.

YOU MUST BE ABLE TO WORK EITHER AT THE JONESBORO OR GRIFFIN HOME FROM 2PM-10PM SATURDAY AND SUNDAY AND commit to working two weekends out of the month 1st, 3rd and 5th or 2nd & 4th.

Position: Residential Childcare worker needed for two weekends a month. Must be able to work Friday 3pm to 10:00 p.m. (or you can work 5-10) Saturday and Sunday 9:00 am to 9:00 pm Additional shifts may be available throughout the week during the evening and night.

We are also in need of Childcare Worker to work 9pm to 9am Saturday and Sunday.

Please note this position is not negotiable. Serious applicants only need to apply. Applicants must pass a Criminal Background Check and have a letter from a physician stating the applicant is okay to work with children.

Embracing Arms, Inc. is a five bed residential facility for at-risk boys with special need such as autism.

POSITION SUMMARY

Application Process – Provide all items listed on the application requirements. Criminal records and previous work conduct cannot reflect any criminal history or misconduct that pertains to abuse, neglect, sexual exploitation, deprivation, perpetration of serious physical injury, or felony arrests. Material false statements concerning qualification requirements are not allowed and if discovered will result in immediate disposal of application. If application materials are received in satisfactory order, and the applicant meets the job qualifications, an interview will be provided for final determination.

Provide direct care and supervision to residents of the group home in accordance to with the policies and procedures provided in facility manual and Rules and Regulations for Child Caring Institutions 290-2-5. Participate in the orientation and training required. Perform duties of daily operations, and record keeping. Conduct monthly site and safety inspections. Available to parents, guardians, or representatives of children considered for admission to the institution. Conduct monthly fire drills, maintain overall general sanitary upkeep of home. Facilitate scheduled activities with residents. Notify Program Coordinator/On Call Staff immediately of any emergencies or actions conducted outside of policies and procedures. Maintain documentation in resident files on care plans and behavior management plans.
