About the Position:

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join our outpatient mental health practice in Scottsdale, Arizona. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality psychiatric care, including evaluations, diagnoses, and medication management for patients with mental health conditions. This role offers a collaborative work environment, flexible scheduling, and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on patients' lives.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct psychiatric evaluations and assessments
• Diagnose and treat mental health disorders (e.g., depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, ADHD, PTSD)
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including medication management
• Provide psychotherapy and supportive counseling as needed
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare providers for comprehensive patient care
• Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical records (EMR)
• Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations

Qualifications:

• Active Arizona NP license (or ability to obtain)
• Board-certified PMHNP (Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner)
• DEA certification required
• 2+ years of outpatient psychiatry experience preferred (new graduates with strong clinical training may be considered)
• Strong diagnostic and medication management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
