Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Associate to join our team in providing high-quality mental health services. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in various therapeutic modalities and demonstrate a commitment to supporting individuals through their mental health journeys. This role involves working with diverse populations, including children, families, and individuals with developmental disabilities, virtually.

Duties

  • Conduct intake assessments and diagnostic evaluations to determine client needs and appropriate treatment plans.
  • Provide individual and group counseling sessions utilizing techniques such as cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, and crisis intervention.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop comprehensive care plans for clients.
  • Maintain accurate medical documentation and records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Engage in case management activities, including coordinating care with other service providers.
  • Implement behavior management strategies and support clients in crisis situations.
  • Utilize telehealth platforms to deliver remote counseling services.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field preferred.
  • CANS/ANSA Certifications a MUST!!!!!
  • Experience working with children and families is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding systems for accurate medical documentation.
  • Strong understanding of behavioral health principles and mental health counseling practices.
  • Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or autism is a plus.
  • Ability to conduct patient assessments (CANS/ANSA/Biopsychosocial) and provide direct support virtually.
  • Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development through training in crisis management or other relevant areas. This position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of those we serve while working within a supportive team environment.
  • Must be flexible to participate in Clinical Reviews when needed for MCOs.
  • MUST be able to review documentation and approve
  • MUST provide your own supervisor.
