Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Associate to join our team in providing high-quality mental health services. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in various therapeutic modalities and demonstrate a commitment to supporting individuals through their mental health journeys. This role involves working with diverse populations, including children, families, and individuals with developmental disabilities, virtually.
Duties
- Conduct intake assessments and diagnostic evaluations to determine client needs and appropriate treatment plans.
- Provide individual and group counseling sessions utilizing techniques such as cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, and crisis intervention.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop comprehensive care plans for clients.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation and records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Engage in case management activities, including coordinating care with other service providers.
- Implement behavior management strategies and support clients in crisis situations.
- Utilize telehealth platforms to deliver remote counseling services.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field preferred.
- CANS/ANSA Certifications a MUST!!!!!
- Experience working with children and families is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding systems for accurate medical documentation.
- Strong understanding of behavioral health principles and mental health counseling practices.
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or autism is a plus.
- Ability to conduct patient assessments (CANS/ANSA/Biopsychosocial) and provide direct support virtually.
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development through training in crisis management or other relevant areas. This position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of those we serve while working within a supportive team environment.
- Must be flexible to participate in Clinical Reviews when needed for MCOs.
- MUST be able to review documentation and approve
- MUST provide your own supervisor.
Job Types: Contract, Internship
Pay: $19.08 - $25.02 per hour
