Annual Salary: $58k-$70k (varies depending on years of experience)
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced behavioral health professional to join a dynamic outpatient program serving adolescents with co-occurring mental health and substance use challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate daily group therapy sessions focused on recovery, coping strategies, and emotional regulation.
- Conduct initial assessments and intake evaluations to determine clinical needs and treatment goals.
- Provide individual and family counseling using evidence-informed approaches such as motivational interviewing and trauma-responsive care.
- Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, educators, probation officers, and other service providers to ensure coordinated care.
- Develop and maintain individualized treatment plans that reflect both client and family input.
- Engage in crisis response, safety planning, and risk assessments as needed throughout the day.
- Participate in outreach efforts to engage youth and families in treatment and support services.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with regulatory and organizational standards.
- Support psychoeducational programming, including tutoring hours and therapeutic activities.
- Contribute to a fast-paced, multidisciplinary team environment with a strong emphasis on communication and collaboration.
Requirements:
- LMHC, LMSW, or MHC-LP required.
- Minimum of 2–3 years of experience working in a behavioral health or substance use treatment setting.
- Strong understanding of dual diagnosis treatment and adolescent development.
- Ability to manage a demanding caseload and respond effectively to crises.
- Familiarity with outpatient treatment models and family systems work.
- Bilingual Spanish skills are a plus, though not required.
- Candidates must be comfortable working in a structured, high-engagement program where youth attend daily for several weeks.
