BEAR LLC is looking for a qualified individual to perform as a Behavior Instructor. At BEAR LLC we work with children, teenagers, and adults diagnosed with developmental disabilities and those in need of behavior modification using Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA). The position of Behavior Instructor includes but is not limited to the following duties;

  • Teaching language skills
  • Teaching play skills such as pretend play, social play, independent play.
  • Teaching attending skills and learning how to learn
  • Reduce challenging behaviors using Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA)
  • Participate in clinical trainings with Board Certified Behavior Analysts, Registered Behavior Technicians and ABA paraprofessionals.

Prerequisites

  • Minimum RBT (Registered Behavior Technician) OR 2 years experience in related behavioral health field+ High School Diploma
  • Bachelor's degree is competitive
  • Must pass background check (DOJ, FBI)
  • Must have a valid driver's license and insurance

Compensation

  • Between $18-$23 per hour DOE, education and credentials (i.e., RBT, QAS, BCaBA)
  • Health Benefits available for full-time Behavior Interventionists
  • Supervision for experience hours to become a BCBA or BCaBA
