Receptionist, Intake Coordinator, Benefits Checker and Scheduler for a Mental Health Outpatient Private Practice.
The ideal candidate has the following:
Extensive experience with performing commercial (PPO/HMO) Insurance Verifications and interpreting insurance plan benefits is required. Specifically, the ability to use Availity and other insurance company portals to accurately verify members benefits to determine coverage and costs, reviewing for deductibles, coinsurance, copayments, etc.
Proficiency with "Insurance Math" - determining patient liability per their plan/benefits.
Ability to multi-task, remain focused and complete a variety of tasks on a daily basis.
A warm, caring and professional demeanor with clients and colleagues - in person, on phone and over email/text.
A fast, curious learner that is not afraid to ask questions in the interest of accelerating the learning curve.
A friendly and helpful nature that draws in both clients and peers.
Tech-savvy. Adapts quickly to new software and system tools, especially EHR platforms and Google Docs and Sheets.
Reliable, Dependable and Punctual.
Strong Work Ethic. Ready to work hard.
This position may require attendance at our Covina location one or more days a week.

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
