Our law firm provides legal services for indigent clients. This position provides heavy support to attorneys and their clients; therefore, attention to detail is of the upmost importance. Must be able to work with people of all ages, genders, religions, races, ethnicities, sexual orientations, temperaments, and from all socioeconomic backgrounds. Must also be able to work independently and collectively. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background and knowledge in child abuse intervention and prevention; and child development. The ideal candidate will also possess strong interview and investigative skills.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Conduct home, jail, and school visits
- Travel out of county
- Conduct interviews
- Fact gathering
- Filing and service of documents
- Identify unspoken needs of clients
- Complete written reports and other documents in a timely manner
- Other duties as assigned
Essential skills needed:
- Detail-oriented
- Time management
- Ability to communicate well (written and verbal)
- Ability to quickly build rapport with others
- Phone etiquette
- Computer literate
- Social media & tech savvy
- Bi-lingual, English-Spanish, highly encouraged to apply.
Qualifications:
- Degree in social work or equivalent experience; or licensed investigator or equivalent experience. Will consider degree in psychology.
- Must be able to pass background investigation and work lawfully in the United States.
Must have a reliable vehicle which is properly insured.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $48,000.00 - $52,000.00 per year
