Cara Galbavi Law is an independent law firm focused solely on estate planning. You will serve as the first impression of our office and play a vital role in caring for clients as they prepare for deeply personal and often emotional milestones in their lives.
Key responsibilities include:
- Serve as a compassionate and professional point of contact for clients during intake, signature conferences, and other appointments
- Prepare, proofread, and edit documents, forms, and client communications with extreme attention to detail and accuracy
- Communicate clearly and respectfully with clients, attorneys, government agencies, and other professionals, often in emotionally sensitive conversations
- Conduct research using online platforms to support case preparation
- Perform administrative tasks including filing, scanning, invoicing, and ensuring client records are maintained with confidentiality and precision
- Balance a high caseload by working efficiently while maintaining accuracy and thoroughness
Key Qualifications include:
- Expert in MS Word and proficient with MS Office, Adobe Acrobat, and other software tools
- Professional, compassionate, and comfortable talking with clients about sensitive and emotional matters
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational and time-management skills to handle a high volume of cases without sacrificing quality
- Eager to learn new skills, software, and online tools
- Excellent grammar, proofreading, and communication skills
- Enjoy working in a small, team-oriented office environment
Experience with or ready to learn:
- Legal-specific tools including mibusinessregistry (f.k.a. LARA), miFile, ICLE, GIS
- Notary Public (bond provided by company)
