La Fuente Hollywood Treatment Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Substance Abuse Counselor or Registered Drug and Alcohol Technician (RADT) to facilitate a half-day of group programming at our Residential Treatment Center every Sunday (approximately 6 hours).

This position is an excellent opportunity for:

• RADTs seeking supervised hours toward SUD/CADC certification.
• Certified counselors (SUD/CADC) interested in earning additional income on weekends.

We are looking to fill this position within the next month.

Key Responsibilities:

• Facilitate group therapy sessions for residential clients.
• Document all client encounters in line with State and insurance requirements.
• Provide support and guidance tailored to clients in recovery.
• Lead therapeutic outings to green and blue spaces, incorporating APA research on the benefits of nature-based interventions.

Requirements:

• Active RADT registration or SUD/CADC certification.
• Valid driver’s license (required for transporting clients on outings).
• Strong knowledge of and experience working with LGBTQ+ communities and the unique issues impacting this population.

Additional Opportunities:

• Possible weekday group coverage for full-time staff (vacation/sick leave coverage) as needed.
