Job Summary:
Seeking a licensed Psychologist to provide mental health care to inmates/wards in a correctional setting. Responsibilities include conducting evaluations, crisis intervention, psychotherapy, treatment planning, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure quality care.
Available Shift Schedule:
- Monday – Friday : 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM - 8hour shift
- Monday – Thursday: 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM - 10hour shift
- Sunday – Wednesday: 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM - 10hourr Shift
- Wednesday – Saturday: 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM - 10hour shift
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform mental health and suicide risk assessments.
- Provide individual and group therapy, crisis intervention, and mental status exams.
- Develop treatment plans and document care (SOAPE notes, reports).
- Participate in IDTT meetings and case consultations.
- Collaborate with staff and community programs to support rehabilitation and re entry.
- Ensure compliance with CA laws, regulations, confidentiality, and mandated reporting.
Qualifications:
- PhD/PsyD in Psychology.
- Active California Psychologist license.
- Experience in assessments, treatment planning, and crisis intervention.
- Ability to work effectively in a correctional environment.
- Basic Life Support - BLS from AHA
