Psychologist needed; however, we will also consider LCSW, LMFT, and LPCC candidates

Job Summary:
Seeking a licensed Psychologist to provide mental health care to inmates/wards in a correctional setting. Responsibilities include conducting evaluations, crisis intervention, psychotherapy, treatment planning, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure quality care.

Available Shift Schedule:

• Monday – Friday : 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM - 8hour shift
• Monday – Thursday: 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM - 10hour shift
• Sunday – Wednesday: 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM - 10hourr Shift
• Wednesday – Saturday: 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM - 10hour shift

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform mental health and suicide risk assessments.
• Provide individual and group therapy, crisis intervention, and mental status exams.
• Develop treatment plans and document care (SOAPE notes, reports).
• Participate in IDTT meetings and case consultations.
• Collaborate with staff and community programs to support rehabilitation and re entry.
• Ensure compliance with CA laws, regulations, confidentiality, and mandated reporting.

Qualifications:

• PhD/PsyD in Psychology.
• Active California Psychologist license.
• Experience in assessments, treatment planning, and crisis intervention.
• Ability to work effectively in a correctional environment.
• Basic Life Support - BLS from AHA
