Central Community Services is seeking a NC Certified Peer Support Specialist (20-35 hours weekly) to work with adults with mental illness and/or substance use disorders. Services are provided in Vance, Granville, Franklin, and Warren counties. Hours are flexible.

Interventions to include advocacy, instruction of illness management and recovery skills, assistance with housing and employment efforts, development of WRAPs, instruction in independent living skills and community integration.

Must be currently certified as a North Carolina Peer Support Specialist, have related work experience, be committed to best and ethical practices, have good written and oral communication skills, work well independently and within a team, and have reliable transportation. Must have excellent time management and documentation skills.

Hourly wage is $18-$22 based on education and experience.
