Responsibilities:

Work collaboratively with center staff and maintain strong communication with Director of educator.

Assist new staff as needed

Participate in advisory meetings

Place orders for materials and snacks as needed

Greet and assist families upon arrival and departure following appropriate procedures

Assist with questions and paperwork

Communicate with families, staff and community members in a professional and positive manner

Assist with set-up and breakdown of activates, maintain a clean environment

Assist with distributing snacks and help children if needed.

Maintain a nurturing and encouraging center environment

Arrive to work on-time and be ready to work

Assist Child Care Coordinator

Create an environment of inclusion and belonging

Requirements:

High school diploma or GED is required. Clean & valid NYS driver license. Reliable transportation. Previous supervisor role preferred. Must participate and successfully complete mentoring program. Maintain current physical/PPD. Experience working with children and families. Excellent customer service skills. Professional demeanor. Ability to be flexible as location may vary occasionally between Albany and Rensselaer county courts.
