Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to join our dynamic healthcare team as a 1099 Contractor. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in behavioral health and be committed to providing high-quality patient care. This role involves assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients with mental health disorders, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring comprehensive care for individuals across various settings.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough psychiatric evaluations and assessments of patients
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs
- Provide medication management and psychopharmacology services
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
- Educate patients and families about mental health conditions and treatment options
- Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations
- Provide Ketamine Assisted therapies
- Engage in telehealth consultations to expand access to care
Experience
Candidates should possess the following skills and experiences:
- Proficiency with Internet systems, online proficiency, and excel
- Knowledge of Ketamine treatment preferred
- Familiarity with behavioral health practices and psychopharmacology
- Knowledge of medical terminology, ICD-9/ICD-10 coding, and CPT coding
- Background in with individuals in all age ranges
- Ability to come into office one day per week minimum, and 2 days Telehealth minimum
