Serenity Circle is a residential co-ed, 10 bed, treatment facility dedicated to providing compassionate, evidence-based care for individuals struggling with substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health conditions. Our mission is to create a safe, supportive, and structured environment that promotes lasting recovery.

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced, unlicensed Counselor to join our team. The ideal applicant will be an experienced BHT or LSAT that has experience working with individuals with SUD and co-occurring disorders. The right candidate will have some experience providing individual counseling and group facilitation skills. We are looking for someone who has the ability to provide empathetic and professional support to clients in recovery.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate group therapy sessions focused on recovery, relapse prevention, life skills, and mental health education
• Under clinical supervision, provide individual counseling to clients
• Assist clients with treatment plan development and monitor progress toward goals
• Document sessions and maintain accurate, timely clinical records in compliance with state and facility requirements
• Support a safe, therapeutic, and recovery-focused environment in the residential setting
• Participate in staff meetings, trainings, and staffings

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 years experience working with individuals in a substance use/mental health in a residential treatment setting
• Knowledge of ASAM, addiction, recovery principles, and co-occurring disorders
• Strong group facilitation and crisis intervention skills
• Excellent communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively independently and in a team environment
• DPS Fingerprint Clearance card required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
