Unlike insurance-based ABA services, we offer full-day school hours with no client cancellations and a consistent, structured schedule. Our programs are BCBA-supervised and team-driven, focused on meaningful progress in communication, behavior, and independence.

Job Description:
We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Behavior Technicians to join our team at our brand-new Yuba City school campus. You’ll work 1:1 with students, implement behavior intervention plans, and receive ongoing training and supervision from certified BCBAs.

Behavior Technician – School-Based

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Behavior Technician to join our team in providing high-quality support to students with autism and other developmental disabilities. Under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), the Behavior Technician will implement individualized treatment plans using Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles. Responsibilities include delivering 1:1 interventions, collecting and recording data on student progress, assisting with skill acquisition and behavior reduction programs, and collaborating with families and staff to promote positive outcomes.

In a school-based setting, the Behavior Technician may be assigned to support an individual student or an entire classroom. Duties include implementing behavior intervention plans during academic and social activities, reinforcing positive behaviors, assisting teachers with classroom management strategies, and promoting skill development in communication, socialization, and independence. The Behavior Technician will work closely with teachers, related service providers, and the supervising BCBA to ensure that interventions are consistent, data-driven, and supportive of each student’s individualized education program (IEP) goals.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in psychology, education, or related field preferred
  • Prior experience working with children or individuals with special needs (school or clinical setting) strongly preferred
  • Knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles a plus
  • Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification preferred or willingness to obtain within 6 months
  • Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills
  • Ability to follow treatment protocols, collect accurate data, and maintain confidentiality
  • Patience, empathy, and a commitment to supporting student success
