About the Company:
Central Florida Communities, Inc. (CFC) has warm, welcoming, home-inspired facilities and programs for individuals with developmental disabilities in Orange, Brevard, Lake and Seminole Counties.
CFC operates three 64-bed Intermediate Care Facilities for the Developmentally Disabled (ICF/DD's), Howell Branch Court, Lake View Court and Washington Square. As a member of our staff, you will be a part of one of these living centers and provide vital around the clock care, which includes nursing and medical oversight, to our residents.
CFC also operates 17 Group Homes which are six-bed community integrated homes serving children and adults with developmental disabilities. We specialize in caring for residents with behavioral problems. Purpose:
The purpose of the position will be work closely with the BCaBA, Case Managers and DSP Supervisors to address individual behavior needs and provide consultation on any other programming needs.
Essential Duties:
Developing Individualized Behavior-Change Programs with client-specific goals and outcome measurements, develop interventions using research based, scientific tactics
Conduct Functional Behavioral Assessments and Learning Needs Assessments
Conduct clinical supervision
Train staff and families on the concepts/principles of ABA and individualized programming
Complete periodic reports detailing progress in individuals’ Behavior Plans
Complete direct observations of program implementation and provide written and oral feedback to staff
Required Qualification:
Board or Florida Certified Behavior Analyst and Master’s degree in a related field.
Clinical experience conducting assessments, developing intervention plans and programs, monitoring progress, and completing progress reports.
Preferred Qualifications:
Ability to work with a variety of clients in regard to age, functionality, and with minimal direction.
Must be able to work effectively as a team member, demonstrate flexibility and desire to learn new skills, and travel independently to our various settings.
Possess strong leadership qualities, collaborative skills, and the ability to train and supervise successfully.
